Our Privacy Commitment

At Mojo White, your privacy is not just a feature. We believe that your data belongs to you, and you alone. This policy explains how we handle your information in plain English.

We do not sell your data, we do not use your content to train AI models, and your uploaded content is processed only to provide Mojo White features to you.

Mojo White is operated by Haro LLC and is not directed to children under 16.

What We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the service:

• Account information: email address, authentication information, and account status.
• Preferences: voice selection, playback speed, theme, parsing, and other product settings.
• Usage and billing data: word counts, plan limits, payments, subscription status, security events, and service logs.
• Temporary content: documents, text, images, transcripts, generated audio, and files you choose to import for conversion.

Chrome Extension

The Mojo White Chrome extension reads web pages aloud with your Mojo White account. Here is what it handles:

• Only what you ask to hear: the extension sends text to Mojo White only when you press play, choose "Read with Mojo White", or use its keyboard shortcut. It sends the text of that page or your selection, and nothing in the background.
• No browsing history: it does not record which sites you visit and does not send page addresses to us.
• Your sign-in: it uses your existing Mojo White sign-in on mojowhite.com so your plan and word count work the same everywhere. It does not read sign-in information from other websites.
• Audio and word count: the text is turned into audio and played in your browser. Extension listening is not added to your library, and we do not keep the text itself. The generated audio is cached for about a week so a repeat listen starts faster, then deleted automatically. Separately, we keep a provenance record: a one-way fingerprint of the text (a hash) and a label that identifies the audio as made by Mojo White for your account. That record stays after the cached audio is deleted. We record the word count against your plan.
• Settings: your chosen voice and playback speed are saved in your Chrome browser settings.
• No ads or tracking: the extension contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking. If you remove it, Chrome opens a short feedback page. The link to that page carries only a label saying it came from the extension, the extension version, and its Chrome Web Store ID, which is the same for everyone and says nothing about you. Your answers there are sent only if you choose to submit them.

How We Use Your Information

• Providing text-to-speech conversion, OCR, document parsing, podcasts, and playback features.
• Managing your account, preferences, subscription, usage limits, and essential service messages.
• Protecting the service from abuse, fraud, malware, and unauthorized access.
• Improving reliability and user experience with anonymized, aggregate usage data that does not include your content.

Document Processing

When you upload documents, we use automated systems to extract text, create audio, and make the content available in your account. Some features use trusted processing providers to deliver those services.

Service Providers and Data Sharing

We use service providers only as needed to provide, secure, and improve Mojo White. Providers receive only the data required for the relevant feature. Not every provider receives data from every user. We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer documents, extracted text, prompts, or generated audio to train Mojo White or third-party provider models as part of normal product use. Where we use authentication, hosting, storage, payment processing, App Store subscription processing, document import, OCR, text-to-speech, AI-assisted document processing, security, analytics, or abuse-prevention providers, we use them to provide the requested service and apply contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards.

Mojo may send content to third-party AI and speech services to provide features such as Assistant, summaries, podcasts and cloud voices. Examples include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Microsoft. International Transfers

Mojo may use service providers that process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Data Storage and Security

• Data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
• User preferences and account records are stored in secure managed databases.
• Temporary server-side content files are encrypted at rest by our storage providers and are subject to automatic deletion.
• Content saved locally to your own device, such as offline drafts or cached scans, stays on that device and is not covered by server-side deletion controls.
• Anonymized aggregate usage data used to operate and improve the service may be retained as needed for service operation.

Your Controls

• Access: request a copy of your data.
• Deletion: delete your account and associated server-side data.
• Correction: update or correct account information and preferences.
• Export: download preferences and usage data where available.
• Cookies: cookie and tracking choices are described in the Cookie Policy. In the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Quebec and Brazil, and when we cannot tell where you are, our first-party analytics run only if you turn them on. Elsewhere they run on our website unless you turn them off with Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of every marketing page or in Privacy settings, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can change this at any time.
• Advertising cookies: on our marketing pages, such as the home page and the download page, we use the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag to learn whether an ad led you to tap the App Store or Google Play button. These companies may collect information about your activity on our site and across other websites over time. In the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Quebec and Brazil they run only if you say yes. Elsewhere they run unless you turn them off with Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of every marketing page, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals. They never run on legal pages, in the Mojo White apps or in the web app. You can also opt out of ads based on your activity at aboutads.info/choices. What they receive: Meta receives your IP address, browser information, the address of the page and of the page you came from, its own cookies (_fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad), a page view, and a Lead event naming which store button you tapped. Google receives your IP address, browser information, the full address of each marketing page you visit (including campaign tags and Google's ad click identifier), its own cookies (_gcl_au, and _gcl_aw when you arrive from a Google ad), and a conversion event when you tap a store button. Neither receives your name, email address, account or documents. When you turn Advertising off, the tags stop and their cookies on our site are deleted.

Automatic Data Deletion

Uploaded files, text content, generated audio, and other server-side content are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days unless a listed exception applies.
