Terms of Service

2. The Service

Mojo White provides text-to-speech, OCR, document parsing, playback, podcast generation, import, and related productivity features. Features may change as we improve the service.

The full service terms are available in the full Terms of Service.

• You are responsible for the files, text, URLs, prompts, and other content you submit.
• You must have the rights needed to upload, import, process, listen to, and generate outputs from your content.
• We may apply usage limits, rate limits, abuse checks, and file-size limits to protect the service.

3. End User License Agreement

iOS app access is also subject to the Mojo White End User License Agreement, including Apple's standard licensed application terms where they apply to App Store downloads. Mobile app terms are also summarized in the full Terms.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, all activity under your account, and promptly notifying us of unauthorized access. You may not share account access in a way that bypasses plan limits or security controls.

5. Subscription Plans, Cancellation, and Billing

Mojo White offers free and paid plans. Current prices, word limits, trial terms, and add-ons are shown in the product or checkout flow and may change for future billing periods.

• Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next renewal date.
• You can cancel through your account billing controls or the payment portal. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.
• You keep paid access through the end of the current billing period unless we terminate for a violation of these terms.
• Failed, reversed, or overdue payments may lead to paused paid features, collection of amounts owed, or plan termination after required notice.
• Taxes, payment processing, invoices, chargebacks, failed payments, and subscription status may be handled by our payment processor.
• Except where required by law or stated in a specific offer, fees are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Mojo White to:

• Upload, import, convert, or distribute content you do not have permission to use.
• Violate law, privacy rights, publicity rights, intellectual property rights, or contractual restrictions.
• Create deceptive, impersonating, abusive, harassing, hateful, exploitative, or illegal content.
• Create voice or audio outputs that mislead people about who is speaking or whether consent was obtained.
• Distribute malware, spam, phishing content, or content designed to compromise systems or users.
• Probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass, or access the service in an unauthorized way.
• Circumvent payment, usage, rate-limit, content-safety, security, or digital-rights controls.
• Use automated systems to abuse, resell, or replicate substantial portions of the service without written permission.
• Create synthetic identities, automated signups, account farms, or shared-account patterns to bypass plan limits or safety checks.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload, import, type, or generate through the service, subject to any rights held by third parties. Mojo White does not claim ownership of your content.

You grant Mojo White a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, transform, display, and store your content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, comply with law, and enforce these terms.

Mojo White, its software, designs, trademarks, and service materials remain owned by Mojo White or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse our protected materials except as allowed by law or these terms.

8. Data Processing, Privacy, and Retention

Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Your content may be processed by trusted provider categories to deliver features such as account access, storage, OCR, text-to-speech, AI-assisted processing, payments, App Store subscription processing, imports, hosting, security, and analytics. The current named subprocessor and service-provider disclosure is public at /legal/subprocessors.

Server-side uploaded files, extracted text, generated audio, transcripts, and similar content are generally deleted after 30 days. The Research Program is an exception: if you enroll, content may be retained beyond 30 days under the Research Program terms. Local device data, billing records, security logs, operational diagnostic data, legal records, and anonymized aggregate usage data may follow different retention rules. Raw crash diagnostics and device hashes are kept up to 30 days; grouped non-content stability issue metadata may be kept up to 365 days to track fixes and regressions.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer law requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at help@mojowhite.com and give both sides 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the state or federal courts located in New York will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
